Ceremonial Opening of Y Community Water Projects in Mannar district was successfully held on the 23rd of January 2022. The projects were carried out at 10 locations in this district mainly at Buddhist temples, Christian churches, MOH office, Police Stations and in schools.

The 3rd wave of Covid-19 pandemic situation is really alarming and death rate in our country is increasing day by day. In addition the very high percentage of deaths among Muslims is a major cause for concern as a community. We, make this appeal to our brothers and sisters to continue to be more vigilant and act wisely, taking note of the rate and statistics of the Covid-19 related Janazas, as the situation is getting really bad on a daily basis. Considering the critical period of the pandemic, our Ulama, Professionals, Entrepreneurs, Masjid Trustees, Civil Society Leaders and Religious Bodies are kindly requested promote the following guidelines to ensure the wellbeing of the community and the country.

National Flag Hoisting Ceremonies organized by Member YMMAs

YMMA Objects Sending Bodies of Sri Lankan Muslim Covid-19 Victims Overseas for Burial

Colombo – December 14, 2020, the All Ceylon Young Men’s Muslim Association Conference (ACYMMAC) at its Emergency Executive Committee Meeting held on 13th December 2020 unanimously decided to emphatically and unequivocally object to sending the bodies, of Sri Lankan Muslims who die of or suspected to have died of Covid-19, to the Maldives or any other country or foreign territory.

Contemporary Business Challenges and Transforming Businesses

A discussion for entrepreneurs and business community was held on the 20th of September 2020 with the participation of around 100 persons from all over the Central Province. The event was organized by All Ceylon YMMA Conference in collaboration with the Kandy Muslim Traders' Association (KMTA) at the Jinnah Memorial Hall, Kandy hosted by the Project Chairman Mr. U.M.Fazil and co-ordinated by District Director for Kandy, Mr. Fouz A. Cader.
