Discussion with Minister of Buddhism and Religious Affairs

A Delegation of All Ceylon YMMA Conference held a discussion with the Minister of Buddhism and Religious Affairs of Sri Lanka Hon. Vidura Wickramanayake MP at the Ministry of Buddhasasana in Colombo yesterday the 16^th November 2022.

The discussion between the parties was a lengthy one during which concerns regarding Muslim Mosques, Quranic Schools, permission to import Islamic books for students and Muslim Marriage law were discussed. On behalf of All Ceylon YMMA Conference, National President Mr. Ihsaan A Hameed, Immediate Past President Mr. Saheed M Rismy, National Issues Committee Chairman Mr. K N Deen, Past President Mr. Fahmee Oowise, Permanent Member Mr. M  Naleem LLB participated. Further on the invitation of the National President of All Ceylon YMMA Conference, the Preseidenr of Young Women's Muslim Association Sri Lanka Ms. Fawaza Thaha participated while representing Colombo Times Mr. M. Rasooldeen also joined the discussion.

Officials of the Ministry of Buddhism and Religious Affairs, Director of Muslim Religious Affairs Department Mr. Ibrahim Ansar also participated at this meeting.
