National President of All Ceylon YMMA Conference Mr. Ihsaan A. Hameed was invited to witness the launch of a youth-led non-governmental organization, The Capsaicinaz LM Foundation (CLM), on 27th November 2022 at Cinnamon Grand Colombo.
The Foundation was officially launched in November 2020 by its Founder and Managing Director, Ms. Zainab Rafeek.
The fundamental
mission of the foundation revolves around serving the community and country
by promoting the importance of taking care of both Physical Health as well
as Mental Health by raising awareness of the need to support those battling
mental ill-health. It further aims to improve accessibility to Professional
Care, connect Cancer and Cardiac patients with Palliative Support and link
people with Professional Advisors on Nutrition and Complementary Medicine to
promote overall well-being, via a trilingual platform.
His Lordship Justice A.H.M.D Nawaz, Honorable Judge of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka participated as the Chief Guest, Dr. Prof. Jean Perera, Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology of Faculty of Medicine - University of Colombo and Dr. Lanka Jayasuriya Desanayake, Chairperson of Indira Cancer trust participated as the Guests of Honor while High Commissioner of Bangladesh H. E Tareq Muhammed Ariful Islam, Ambassador of State of Palestine H.E Dr. Zuhair Hamdalla Zaid, First Secretary of Embassy of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Khalid Makkie, High Commissioner Islamic Republic of Pakistan H. E Major General Umar Farooq Burki, Acting Ambassador of State of Palestine H.E Abu Taha, Former Minister Mr. A.H.M Fowzie and many others participated at this event.
