Our History

Brief history of YMMA Conference Sri Lanka

The All Ceylon Young Men’s Muslim Association Conference (YMMA Conference) in Sri Lanka was founded on April 30, 1950, by Dr. A.M.A. Azeez. It was established to provide a platform for Muslim youth to engage in community service, promote Islamic values, and contribute to the development of Sri Lanka.

1950 - 1960
Education & Social Welfare

The ACYMMA focuses on youth development, education, and social welfare programs.

1970 - 1980
Community Development

1990 - 2000
Peace & Reconciliation

The ACYMMA plays a crucial role in promoting peace and reconciliation during the Sri Lankan civil war. The organization provides relief and rehabilitation services to affected communities and works to build bridges between different ethnic and religious groups.

2010 - 2020
Unity & Desepline

The ACYMMA continues to be a leading voice for the Muslim community in Sri Lanka. The organization remains committed to its core values of faith, unity, and discipline, and continues to work towards the betterment of society.

All Ceylon YMMA Conference's contribution to the society
