YMMA Objects Sending Bodies of Sri Lankan Muslim Covid-19 Victims Overseas for Burial

Colombo – December 14, 2020, the All Ceylon Young Men’s Muslim Association Conference (ACYMMAC) at its Emergency Executive Committee Meeting held on 13th December 2020 unanimously decided to emphatically and unequivocally object to sending the bodies, of Sri Lankan Muslims who die of or suspected to have died of Covid-19, to the Maldives or any other country or foreign territory.

YMMA Conference being elected to the CCMSL Secretariat 2020/21

It is with great pleasure we announce that the All Ceylon YMMA Conference was elected to be part of the Country Coordinating Mechanism Sri Lanka (CCMSL) (ශ්‍රි ලංකා දේශීය සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටුව) (இலங்கை தேசிய ஒருங்கிணைப்புக் குழு) 2020/2022 after an election which was held in September 2020.

The event was organized by All Ceylon YMMA Conference in collaboration with the Kandy Muslim Traders' Association (KMTA) at the Jinnah Memorial Hall, Kandy hosted by the Project Chairman Mr. U.M.Fazil and co-ordinated by District Director for Kandy, Mr. Fouz A. Cader.
